The trip applications, payments and waivers are handled by our partner, Entheos Audiology Cooperative.

The Clinic Only price includes transportation (not flights), hotels, meals, and other trip ground expenses.  Any hotel or transportation needs outside of our posted trip dates are not covered in the Clinic Only price.

The Retreat Days Included pricing is for everything in the Clinic Only price as well as the transportation, hotels, meals and ground costs of the planned retreat.  Depending on the retreat location, there may be options for extra excursions or activities not included in the Retreat Days pricing.  

The pricing does not include airfare to and from the country of service, logistics outside of the planned itinerary, visa and exit fees, and any associated vaccines.

Yes!   We encourage you to bring family and friends to experience the incredible power of these outreaches! These trips are designed for participants aged 14 and older.  Depending on the location, dependents ranging from 14-18 years old will need separate waivers and may need signed and notarized letters of travel from both parents as well as a copy of their birth certificate.

Every trip is different and can accommodate various needs for mobility, transportation and travel.  Please check with the Global Give Back team before you apply to make sure your friends and family will be able to join with you. Please also let us know if you need special accommodations before you apply so that we can make sure that particular trip can be tailored to your needs.

The application provides our team with critical information in case of an emergency to support trip operations. We request your passport information because our partners and local accommodations often require it. Additionally, it helps us ensure that your passport is valid for the duration of the trip, in compliance with each country’s regulations.

Applications are reviewed and finalized within 120 days prior to the trip’s departure. Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot, but it enters you into the selection process. You will be notified if you are selected.

A $500 deposit is required to apply for and secure your place on a trip.  The remaining trip balance is due 90 days prior to the trip.  

The $500 deposit is fully refundable up to 90 days prior to the trip or if there is no spot available for the trip.  Once inside the 90 days, you are responsible to cover all of your ground logistic charges that have already occurred, including any cancellation of in-country flights. We are sorry to see you go! Any cancellations up to 90 days before the trip are fully refundable minus a 6% credit card processing fee.  

Cancellations 90 days or less before a trip are subject to fees based on the ground logistics already in place.  If you cancel within this time frame, you are responsible to cover all of your ground logistic charges that have already occurred, including any cancellation of in-country flights. If there is money remaining after those charges, that amount will be refunded to you minus a 6% card processing fee.  

If you are intending to travel on another trip in the same calendar year, your payments may be applied to future trips.
