We have been working in the audiology field since 1994 providing free hearing screenings, hearing tests, hearing aid fittings with donated hearing aids and vestibular services to community members who did not have the funding to seek the audiological care they need.

To enrich the lives of underserved individuals by delivering accurate diagnostics and treatment for hearing and balance disorders in Texas.
The Need
Approximately 48 million Americans suffer from hearing loss, over 50 million Americans experience tinnitus (while 20 million are considered burdensome chronic cases, and 2 million have extreme and debilitating cases), and over 90 million Americans experience dizziness, vertigo, or balance symptoms to an extent that interferes with their ability to communicate and remain independent. We believe no one should miss out on participating fully in life due to hearing and balance disorders. Untreated hearing loss and balance disorders have a devastating impact on individual’s physical and mental health, plus their families and community. Sadly, Medicare does not cover any costs associated with hearing loss and Medicaid only covers one hearing aid per individual every 5 years. Most health insurance plans do not cover hearing aids either.

- Reduced Fee, Sliding Scale Hearing Clinic for families with incomes up to 250% Federal Poverty Level
- Hearing Aid Donation Program collects used hearing aids for use on missions, non-profit work, repairs or credit towards better technology
- International Hearing Missions
Our Give Back Model
We are not a free clinic. We operate on a reduced fee schedule to make hearing healthcare affordable for individuals and families with incomes up to 250% of the federal poverty level. Qualified participants will show proof of financial need, pay a small fee for their new hearing devices, and give back volunteer hours in our community as a way to say “Thank You” to local businesses, families, and friends who are donating for their care.

Thank you for your interest in the Hearing the Call campaign in partnership with the Hearing the Call North Texas. Your donation will go to Hearing the Call, a 501(c)(3) organization, and will be restricted to the North Texas project. The funds for this project will be used specifically to help promote hearing healthcare to qualified individuals in the Texas area.
Each donation, no matter the size, will help to get us one step closer to providing access to quality and affordable hearing healthcare to those who would otherwise go without.
