Help Us Raise a Hearing Clinic

According to the World Health Organization, there are over 40 million people in Africa living with disabling hearing loss.  60% of those individuals are between the ages of 15 to 59 years old.  Hearing the Call has been working to bring much needed hearing healthcare to Zambia since 2014.  Our recent partnerships with the Ministry of Health and Village of Hope have opened the door for us to raise a hearing healthcare clinic to treat and train in the rural areas of Zambia.
With only one audiologist in all of Zambia, the need to educate and sustain hearing healthcare workers is enormous.  Your support of this clinic, will allow us to continue to develop methods of sustainable access in the regions where we work.  Won’t you join us in connecting people to possibilities through this opportunity? Your gift today brings us closer to lasting impact.

Sylvia met the Hearing the Call team in 2016 when she was just 6 years old. At the time, she couldn’t hear or speak.
After being fitted with hearing aids, she spoke for the first time, saying ‘mama.’ She is now attending school at the Village of Hope.
The team is continually inspired by her progress each year during their visits.

Hearing the Call aims to establish sustainable hearing healthcare in every location it serves. The process begins with immediate relief efforts, followed by collaboration with local partners to identify individuals for long-term solutions through education and training.
