Hearing the Call – Southeast Texas
Beckman Audiology has had the privilege of helping countless patients hear better. However, there have unfortunately been many times when a hearing-impaired patient needs our help, yet financially cannot afford to purchase hearing aids. Through grant-funded programs, vocational rehab and donated hearing aids, we have been able to help many of those patients. However, each of these avenues of care have hurdles. Hearing the Call Southeast Texas was born from the belief that access to hearing healthcare should not depend on a person's income or insurance coverage. By partnering with generous donors, community members, and organizations, we can provide hearing evaluations and hearing aids to those who otherwise might go without. What began as a desire to help a few individuals, has become a mission to connect our community through the gift of better hearing. Every patient we serve reminds us why we answer the call: because hearing changes lives.

How Hearing the Call Helps
Removing financial barriers to better hearing through community support and compassionate care.
The Need
Thousands of people live with untreated hearing loss because they cannot afford hearing healthcare or hearing aids. Sadly, Medicare and many health insurance plans do not cover prescription hearing aids and audiology care.
Without treatment, hearing loss can lead to social isolation, communication difficulties, and reduced quality of life. Hearing the Call Southeast Texas exists to remove these financial barriers by providing professional hearing care and community-funded hearing solutions to those who need them most.
Our Give Back Model
Qualified participants show proof of financial need, pay a small fee for their hearing devices, and give back volunteer hours in their community as a way to say “thank you” to the local companies, families, and friends donating toward their care.
