Jordan - Must-See Attractions

The Dead Sea

The Dead Sea, located on the border between Jordan and Israel, is the lowest point on Earth at about 1,410 feet (430 meters) below sea level. Known for its extremely high salt content, the Dead Sea allows swimmers to float effortlessly. Its mineral-rich waters and mud have been renowned for their therapeutic properties for centuries.

Wadi Rum

Also known as the Valley of the Moon, Wadi Rum is a desert region in southern Jordan. Famous for its striking red sandstone mountains, vast sand dunes, and ancient rock carvings, Wadi Rum is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Petra

Petra is an ancient archaeological city in southern Jordan, famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Established around the 4th century BC,  Petra’s most iconic structure is Al-Khazneh, or the Treasury, carved into rose-red sandstone cliffs. The site, often called the “Rose City” due to the color of its stone.
