Jim Thorpe is passionate about a lot of things, and identifying the top three are easy: family, tacos, and giving back. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and Sarasota, Florida. Jim graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law and received a Juris Doctorate. He is an active member of The Florida Bar and has been practicing law since 2009. Jim is passionate about serving his community, representing prior clients pro bono in foreclosure, domestic abuse, and other civil matters. He is currently in-house counsel and the Director of Give Back for Entheos Audiology Cooperative. Jim brings his passion and high energy to Hearing the Call where he serves as the Secretary to the Board of Directors. In addition, he helps private audiology practitioners extend their reach to income-eligible patients across the United States by providing structure, support, and a platform for tax deductible fundraising. Funds raised are used to subsidize dignified best practices hearing healthcare to patients that cannot afford to pay full price. In this role, Jim is able to help people gain access to affordable hearing healthcare.
Hearing the Call is a qualified 501c3 charitable organization bringing hope and healing to persons who are hard of hearing. The goal is to eliminate the financial gap for patients in order to ensure everyone is given the opportunity for dignified, quality hearing health care that changes lives.
